Iain Patten, PhD, is an independent medical writing and translation consultant.
He works with clients in either English or Spanish to facilitate the effective communication
of science and medicine to English-speaking audiences. He has a background
in biomedical research (neuroscience and developmental genetics) and, since 2002,
has worked with researchers and organizations on projects ranging from development
of research articles to project management of bilingual journal publication.

Iain shares time between Valencia and London, and can be contacted to discuss work
in either Spain or the UK.
